Happy Friday! How crazy it is to think that summer is already here. I kept schooling through the summer as a child and interned or worked every summer in college, so it’s weird to think I’m going on vacation next week…but I’ll take it! In the meantime, sports reporter Vinnie Cammarano will compile the newsletter for me. See you soon!

Apopka Historical Fact: Site of Fountain (Intersection of Central Ave. and Fourth St.)

“In the 1920s, there was a fountain topped with electric lights in the middle of this intersection. In 1936, Apopka’s first traffic light was installed for the cost of $87.50. Speed was limited to 10 mph through the business district.”
